Rice Lake Speedway: Auto racing on 1/3rd mile dirt oval track, every Saturday night through Labor Day weekend! (Weather permitting!)
Stardust Drive-In: Open weekends in May! 2 movies for one admission price! Game room, reasonably priced concessions and more. Located in Chetek.
Skate City: Open Thursday through Sunday during May! Indoor playland, arcade, snack bar and roller skating fun. Located in Rice Lake.
Memorial Day ceremonies: Honor those who sacrificed all in the service of our country. Contact your local VFW for ceremony schedules and locations. You may also check The Chronotype for a list of Barron County ceremonies and parades, usually published a few days prior to events.
Blue Hills BBQ Fest: May 31 – June 1! Two-day barbecue festival featuring grilling team competitions, live music, games, vendor booths, and delicious barbeque prepared by local restaurants and caterers. Held at Barron County Fairgrounds.
Camerama: May 31 – June 2! Cameron community festival with softball tournaments, bean bag tournaments, craft show, live music, food and more. Big fireworks show on May 31! Held at Sportsmans Park.
Rice Lake Aquafest: Too big to miss! Too much to list! Daily events from May 31 through June 9. Live music with national headliners June 6, 7 and 8. Carnival, water ski show, parade, food, contests and more. See website for complete details.
Chetek City-Wide Garage Sales: June 1-2 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You never know what you’ll find!
Taste of Chetek – Downtown Open House: Delicious food offerings and specials by local establishments. June 3, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
